…in-four U.S. Hispanics have heard of Latinx, and just 3% use it. People who want to use the current terminology worry about whether Native American or American Indian is the correct way to describe an indigenous American and end up missing two facts: either term is fine with most indigenous people, but they would prefer to be referred to by the name of their tribe.
