As a conservative Christian parent of gay daughter, I applaud you for loving your dad even though you disagree. I have a wonderful relationship with my daughter because I chose love over all and so did she. You hear a lot about parents who shun their children and children who reject their families, but not nearly enough about parents and children who can agree-to-disagree and carry on healthy relationships with each other (and even with their partners.)
